Someone Has a Sick Sense of Humor!!

We went to my brother's for Spring Break this year. He lives in Maryland. He's centered in a spot where there is quite a bit to do. About an hour from DC, Baltimore, Gettysburg, Harper's Ferry, etc. The kids were happy because for once they weren't the ONLY kids left in town. Or at least that's what they tell me every year! I have lots of photos to load. We kept busy the whole week. And I, of course, took lots of pics! Oh, plus Dawne, Bryson and I went to see the Hunger Games! Totally lived up to my expectations! After reading the book, I was prepared for it to be much more gory than it was. So, that was a plus too! Anyway, enough of my rambling. I will try to get my more pics put on here tomorrow. But, I wanted to share this guy first!
We were at a store called The Outhouse in Pennsylvania. I went to use the restroom. The sign on the door said "Ladies", but this is what I saw when I opened the door! Caught off guard, I quickly shut the door and checked the sign again. Sure enough, it was the ladies room! Just had this dude standing right inside the door in front of a urinal to freak people out! I bet they get people screaming everyday!

He startled me again when I came out of the stall! These people have a sick sense of humor!

Beauty & The Beast Videos

You may have to turn the volume up. I did the best I could with Dusty's little flip camera!

Beauty & The Beast

This past weekend was one of my favorite times of the year-the Spring musical! I love it! This year they did Beauty & the Beast. As usual, they put on a wonderful show! Bryson, being the peppy girl that she is, played the part of "Chip" the teacup. She was stuck inside a cart almost the whole play and had a smile on her face the entire time. Very sad to think that next year will be her last year! :( Thanks to my dear friend Lori for taking pics!!! Love you!

Yes I Cried-A Lot!

I will admit I am a little embarrassed by my reaction to the news that the Colts were releasing Peyton Manning. Deep down I knew it was coming, but as I watched the press conference with the official announcement, I cried. I cried a lot! Not just a little sniffle or a few tears. Like my dog had just been hit by a car. Like I did when I watched Marley & Me. Like I did (and still do) when I watched the last episode of Friends. My husband asked what was wrong ( I was watching in another room) and I had to compose myself to be able to tell him. Ridiculous! But I couldn't help it! I just always pictured Peyton retiring from the Colts. I never pictured and never wanted to see him in a different uniform. If you would have told me 8 years ago that I would give a crap about Peyton Manning leaving, I would have told you that you were crazy. But I started watching. I learned the game. I now LOVE the game. Peyton Manning is a big part of why I love the game of football so much. I remember how excited I was when I went to my first game. I got chills watching them all run out on the field. My guys that I watched every Sunday and I was there in person to watch them! And now I go to at least one game a year. I love it! The team, the atmosphere, the awesome stadium, all of it! And now he's leaving! Along with so many of the other players that I love so much. They say they want to rebuild. Peyton was released on Wednesday. Friday they released Dallas Clark (I love him!), Melvin Bullit, Gary Bracket, Joseph Addai and the only one I actually agree on-Curtis Painter. Now there is talk that we will most likely lose Dwight Freeney and Jeff Saturday... the list goes on. We will have no veteran players left. No foundation to build on. I am sad. Just sad......

Thank you #18! Thank you for the memories and for everything you did for the city of Indianapolis! You are so much more than just a football player to us!
